Though
lighter seem more often used, matches are still produced and available in the
market. Seeing this box of matches reminds me of the sad fairy-tale “The Little
Match Girl” by Hans Christian Andersen.

Nice box ! matches are always needed for lightening a candle and open fires too.
Very pretty boxes! I've had some with beautiful landscapes on, but usually the boxes are rather ugly.
