The Female Performers of Sundanese Reog

Sundanese reog is a cultural performance using dogdog or gendang (a kind of drum) accompanied by entertaining dance and comedy by the players. Those ladies were so funny. They were dancing, playing music while speaking humorously. So fun to watch them. I was laughing almost along their performance. My husband wasn't able to understand the whole conversation; they spoke in Sundanese language :)

The lady in green shirt was the funniest. She's becoming the laughing stock of the other three.

Captured at the Kencana Park about three weeks ago -during a cultural performance by local artists (Taman Kencana Community). I heard that the show will be held regularly at the same place, probably twice a month.

Location: The Kencana Park, Bogor, West Java, Indonesia

I'd like to see a show like that even if I don't understand the language!

Nice to see old cultures still being practice.
