It’s that time of the year once again, time of giving and family
gatherings just a norm tradition not just in the Philippines. Information on building services and modelling may also
be needed especially for people who take Christmas decorations seriously. Who
said you have to spend a lot of money for nice decorations or look for big
brands when you can make them yourselves. You’d be surprised how much nicer
homemade decorations are especially because you can tweak it based on what you
want. Plus it is so rewarding once everything is set up, knowing that you made
everything from scratch.
Sparkly
Hanging Baubles
This couldn’t be any simpler when all you need is a balloon, glue
mixture, some string and glitters. These baubles can become great ornaments,
they’re simple yet eye catching at the same time. They can give any Christmas
tree or room a winter vibe, they look like floating snow bubbles. You start by
blowing a balloon to whatever size you want your bauble. Next soak the string
in the glue and water mixture and start wrapping the balloon with it. Allow the
string to harden in place to take the form of the balloon, once it does pop the
balloon and finish it off by sprinkling some glitters on it.
Christmas
Book Tree
If you are a bookworm and have tons of books just lying around the
house, then don’t bother buying a tree this Christmas. Take all those books and
start stacking, there’s no one way to stack these books you can put a unique
twist on your own book tree. The basic step is by laying down a circular
foundation of books that is very spaced out from each other. The second layer
of books will be set on top of the gaps of the first layer and spaced with a
narrower gap. Repeat this until you get a cone shape and wrap the tree with LED
lights. Don’t forget to add your own start on top.
Popsicle
Stick Snowflakes
This is as easy as it gets, all you need are popsicle sticks, glue and
your imagination. These snowflakes are simple yet can really pop when put on
plain walls or on the windows. It’s a great touch and the best part is that it
goes with any other decorations you put up. You have total control on how you
want to design it, how big, what pattern or color so go crazy.
Cinnamon
Vanilla Candle
Nothing says Christmas like the scent of cinnamon and vanilla in the
air. Simply take a vanilla scented candle and wrap an elastic band around it. Insert
cinnamon sticks into the band until the whole candle is covered without any
gaps. Cover the elastic band with twine by wrapping it around at least 5 times
over. Finish it off with a bow over the knot and let the aroma of the cinnamon
and vanilla fill the room.
Incorporate these few and simple decorations around the house and
impress your guests with your artistic skills. You will truly set yourself
apart from homes using conventional Christmas decorations.
