Playing with Balls

I captured these moments when I visited Petuguran Dam in my husband’s home town. During the Eid ul-fitr vacation times, around the area, there are held some games spots. One of them is this ball playing game. We call it ‘mandi bola’ or ‘having a bath with ball’ game. A sweet little girl attracted my attention with her funny acts. Children looked so happy with the balls!

Bathroom Bench

Do you wish you had a bench you could sit on while you dry your feet or put your socks on? Here’s a simple solution which could be fitted into a bathroom as well as a cabana or swimming pool change room. It’s ideal when space is at a premium.
This bench consists of nothing more than two angle brackets fixed to the wall, and a slatted seat which is fixed to the top. Simply enlarge the dimensions if you have sufficient room. The timber should be Oregon or Tasmanian oak. Both are strong and ideal for withstanding the moisture that builds up in bathrooms.

Here are several forms of carports, for your inspiration:

Cycling Tailor

I’m not good with sewing things. Fortunately, there is a tailor man who always helps me. The good thing is, you can call him to come to your home!

Installing a Skylight

A skylight is a fantastic way to let light and heat into dreary rooms. It’s suitable for a roof with a pitch between 15 and 85’’. This is a fixed unit, not to be confused with a roof-mounted window which can be opened.

Putting in a skylight, especially if the ceiling follows the slope of the roof, is not beyond the capability of the average do-it-yourselfer.
